'THE MAD HATTER'S TEA PARTY' DEBUTS AT KETTERING ARTS CENTRE
'The Mad Hatter's Tea Party' received its premiere at Kettering Arts Centre with an audience of more than 200 hundred children who roared their approval throughout its 60 minute runtime. Adapted, produced and directed by James Hyland, this one-of-a-kind show explores Lewis Carroll's inimitable world of Wonderland from the point of view of two of its most iconic characters: The Hatter and the March Hare. Fantastical and utterly bonkers, 'The Mad Hatter's Tea Party' is both groundbreaking and surprising in equal measure.
WONDERLAND COSTUMES TO BE DESIGNED AND MADE BY A CHILD OF THE JAGO
As Artistic Director and Founder of Brother Wolf, James Hyland is very excited to announce his collaboration with A Child Of The Jago. They will design and make the unique and completely original costumes for James's latest theatre production, 'The Mad Hatter's Tea Party'. Since their inception in 2008, A Child Of The Jago has continued to champion, create and produce small runs of fine quality clothing whilst maintaining an environmentally conscious approach. Inspired by infamous historical figures like Jack Sheppard and Joan of Arc rather than throwaway trends, they remain one of the original anti-brands.

'A LESSON FROM AUSCHWITZ' RAISES £2032 FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES
To date, James's commemorative production of 'A Lesson from Auschwitz' has raised £2032 for charitable causes. Described by Plays To See as "magnificent... the most powerful refutation there could be of Holocaust denial... a majestic statement of the power of theatre", the ground-breaking historical drama returns to the stage on 7th May 2019.

'THE SOUND' CONTINUES ITS SUCCESSFUL RUN OF THE WORLDWIDE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT
The new short film 'The Sound', in which James appears opposite Joesph Mawle ('Game of Thrones'), continues its run of the festival circuit with a current total of four nominations for Best Short Film. The film, which follows a young girl desperate to find the source of the haunting sound plaguing her mother, was produced by Noel Clarke's Unstoppable Entertainment in partnership with Brunel University London.
